I saw this in the park last summer and it was amazing! Apparently, the rave reviews the show and young cast got last summer still apply in the Hirschfeld. I've a set of tickets in the mezzanine (and the cast comes and hangs out in the mezz!) for $52 each and I'd love to get a group together and go on a fun Saturday matinee.

I have some friends in the cast who may come say hello to us afterwards as well! Let me know if you're interested in joining this cheap fun summer Broadway trip!

    Okay guys-- time's up. Unfortunately, those of who are still listed as YES, but have not paid won't get a ticket. I can only pay for the 25 tickets that have already been paid for. If you guys didn't make it this time, we'll get you in on the next one! I'm thinking ROCK OF AGES.

    Yeah! Drinks after Hair sounds like an awesome idea, James! I'm super excited - I hear that this show is freaking fantastic and I'd love to chat about it with everyone post-show!

    Post Show Fun-- A few of us were talking about going to Irish Rogue on 44th after the show. They have good drink specials all the time, so hope you can join for our fun-filled Saturday. Irish Rogue 356 W 44th St See you there!

    Hey guys-- I'm getting excited about the trip! For all those of you who've confirmed yes, but haven't yet paid, please make sure you do by the beginning of next week. And for all you maybes, we really hope you can come! I think we're all going to have a blast! -- James

    • “ I enjoyed the play but as already stated by other group members the event was poorly managed. The leaders were unfindable until about 15 minutes before showtime--and we had to find them!! There was no obvious singage (only a small sign which I only saw because I asked...and there was no apology for their arriving later than the e-mailed 1:00pm gathering time. And, the promised mezzanine seats turned out to be more balcony than mezzanine--three rows from the top--the stage lights shining in our eyes. The after theater full group gathering a Times Square pub also didn't occur as promised. Everyone ended up going there own way as the group leader could not be found to organize and escort us to the venue. This definitely took away a large part of the pleasure and fun of joining a Meet-up group (there was a lot of "up"(balcony)but very little "meet". With the exception of a good play and fun seat mates this is not an experience I would like to repeat. ”

      “ I think that it was a fine experience. We got got to see a Tony Winning Broadway show for less than half the price of a normal ticket! Usually for that price some part of your view is obstructed but these seats were great - in fact, I even touched Gavin Creel's hand when he came up to the balcony for curtain call! It was AWESOME! Broadway group tickets are extremely hard to organize and I think the fact that our group leader used his time to organize an opportunity for us to get to see this show for such a great price is fantastic - thank you, James! ”
    • “ I loved the musical. Performance was spectacular. The seats were pretty far back so it was difficult to see the actors, particularly when they were on the stage apron. I wouldn't mind spending a little bit more for front mezzanine. ”
