Hello!

I've just voted for the March meet-up, although I had 2 favourites in there... So I also will be quite happy if the Sheffield performance came tops.

Just going through the various theatres' sites, I noticed there are a few contemporary ballets at Manchester's Lowry. Not sure how people feel about a ballet (classic or comtemporary), but I have listed some April performances below if anyone is interested. They are contemporary though:
- Richard Alston Dance company - Tues 8/04 at the Lyrics/Lowry Manchester
- Verve 08 (Northern School of contemporary dance) - Fri 28/03 at the Quays/Lowry Manchester
- PUSH (produced by London's Sadler's Wells) with Sylvie Guillem and Russell Maliphant - Thur/Fri 24/25th April at the Lyrics/Lowry Manchester
-> I am unlikely to be here for this performance, but I would have definitely chosen to go and see it. Although the performance is short, the reviews (check them out) are superb and I'm sure the tickets will go quickly. Sylvie Guillem is an amazing dancer and was a favourite of the French choreograph Maurice Bejart.

There are also classical ballet at the Lyceum and often at the Leeds Grand.
Would be great to know what you think!

Have a good weekend all!
