Yay! We're gonna see the legendary musical, "Man of La Mancha.

Anyway, I think this show will be SPECTACULAR! Here's 3 reasons why:
1. It's put on at the Gallery Players, which the Daily News recently described as a "thriving space in Park Slope, Brooklyn, [that] has shown a knack for clever revivals of Broadway shows that pack in audiences." Gallery Players has history -- it recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.

2. "Man of La Mancha" has the legendary song "The Impossible Dream" in it!

3. It's legendary: Here's some cool facts and the synopsis of the play:
--The show made its Broadway debut in 1965, where it played for 2,329 performances and won five Tony Awards.
--It's based on the 17th century masterpiece, I, Don Quixote
--Synopsis: The musical tells the tale of author Miguel de Cervantes who, imprisoned and awaiting trial before the Spanish Inquisition, joins with his fellow prisoners to perform a play about Don Quixote de la Mancha, the mad knight who quests for justice and tilts at windmills.

A first rate theater experience. Friendly group of people, enthusiastic. The performance was very good. Beautiful singing and the story was really brought to life by the actors and the set/sound design. Thanks Sheryl and company for an enjoyable evening.
