This group is for anyone interested in attending local plays, musicals, and lectures at various venues throughout Ventura County. I started this group because I love going to see plays and musicals, but my spouse doesn't share this interest, and it's just not easy to get up the motivation to go alone. Before the show, there will be an optional meetup for coffee or cocktails at a location near the theater.

In the this meetup, I work on all the basics of acting. These are: cold readings, scene study, improv, and monologues. Scene study is the basis of actor training. We use scripts from films which I supply in addition to those brought in by students.
