This group is for people who appreciate live theater and would like to make new friends while enjoying a night out together. The emphasis will be on affordable, good quality shows at local community theaters with an occasional high-end show. Each event will include a play and an optional dinner before the show, or after the show for matinees.
Come join us! We attend movies, live theater, opera, concerts, and other events together, without going into Boston. We may eat together (inexpensively) before or after to discuss. Possibilities include the Metropolitan Opera's live HD simulcasts in Rockport, or live theater at the Gloucester Stage Company, or movies at the Cabot Theater in Beverly. New ideas are welcome! Our purpose is to build community around the performing arts on the North Shore, and to make like-minded friends.
